Express Parcels is one of the largest independent parcels delivery company in Northern Ireland, and having strategic trading partners in the UK mainland and Southern Ireland it can offer it's customers an all-Ireland, UK, indeed worldwide, parcel delivery service.
- Established by current MD's father, CE Mitchell Ltd operated a local parcel delivery service, specialising in drapery and footwear.
- The business was rebranded as "Express Parcels Portadown Ltd" in 1978
- Dublin depot opened in 1982, expanding services to offer next day and economy services throughout Ireland.
- Operations moved to Tandragee in 1983.
- Transport Development Group Ltd bought company over in 1987.
- Management bought company back in 1993, as parcel sector fell outside TDG's core business activity.
- Due to business expansion Express Parcels moved to current premises in 1997.
- With EU deregulation, the Dublin depot closed in 2002. Southern Ireland traffic going from Craigavon direct to trading partners.
